  2. Go to "SSL Management" and find your SSL Certificate, click "Details" button
  3. Click to "Reissue Certificate" button
  4. Submit new CSR code to the form
  5. Select encryption algorithm; SHA1 or SHA2
  6. Follow the Reissue process
  7. You will receive new validation email in case order is Domain validation. CA managers will need to review order manually in case its Business or Extended validation, which may take up to 24-48 hours. Domain validation reissues take 3-5 minutes once validation passed.

Reissue and change domain name

Ishost allows to change/update domain name within 12 months for any Comodo SSL certificate we sell, and within 30 days for all Symantec/GeoTrust/RapidSSL and Thawte orders. The process is quite easy; follow Reissue instructions and submit new CSR code with new common name.

You will get DCV (Domain control validation) email for all DV (Domain validation), orders. Business SSL certificates will require some additional checks by CA managers. Extended validation certificates may need to provide new documents in case of changing the primary domain name.

Please note! Those rules are affected Single and Wildcard domains only, as we provide free and unlimited changes/updates for domain names and SAN items within a lifetime of all Multi-Domain/UCC/SAN SSL certificates.
